Privacy policy

Your data is in safe hands with us. Below you can read which personal data we process, why, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Who is responsible?

Van Moer Marc.com bv, Heirbaan 389, 9150 Kruibeke, Belgium. Company number BE0884.293.570. Privacy questions: info@vanmoermarc.com or +32 3 252 92 46.

Quote and contact requests

Quote requests and breakdown reports go through our Odoo form. We process your name, contact details, site address and the technical information you provide.

Purpose: answering your request, preparing a quote and carrying out the job. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract. Customer data is kept as long as accounting law requires (7 years); requests that do not lead to a job are deleted after 2 years.

Job applications and CVs

When you apply through our website, we process your name, email address, phone number, chosen position, your message and your CV. Only the people involved in hiring can see them.

Purpose: assessing your application. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request. We keep applications and CVs for up to 12 months after receipt, so we can contact you about a later vacancy. Ask us if you want them deleted sooner. If you are hired, the data moves to your personnel file.

Email and phone

If you email or call us, we only use your details to answer you and follow up on your question.

Who receives your data?

We never sell or rent your data. We work with a small number of processors: Odoo (quote and contact form), our hosting and database partner (website and applications) and Google (map, only if you allow it). Agreements are in place to protect your data. Where data ends up outside the European Economic Area, this happens with the safeguards required by law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Security

Data is sent encrypted. CVs are kept in protected storage that is not publicly accessible.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Send your request to info@vanmoermarc.com; we reply within one month.
